Job Responsibilities:
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
General Cleaning Duties:
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners.
Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles and light switches.
Surface Cleaning:
Clean and sanitize countertops, desks, and tables.
Wash windows and glass surfaces.
Clean and sanitize kitchen and break room areas, including appliances, sinks, and counter tops.
Maintenance and Supplies:
Replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
Maintain and properly store cleaning equipment.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to management.
Specialized Cleaning Tasks:
Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing and floor waxing. (This is only specific to certain accounts and not required for the employee to complete unless arranged with management.)
Clean and disinfect areas as required for specific industries (e.g., medical or food service).
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Use cleaning chemicals and supplies according to manufacturer instructions and safety protocols.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Customer Service:
Respond to client requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
Maintain a positive and courteous attitude while on the job.
Report any issues or concerns about the facility to management.
Administrative Tasks:
- Complete cleaning checklists and reports as required.
- Track and report the usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Read and understand employee handbook (will be given first day on job site)
Minimum Requirements
Commercial cleaning requires walking, standing, bending, lifting, stretching, pulling, and pushing.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
- Be able to follow simple instructions.
