House Supervisor


Position Summary
: The House Supervisor assumes responsibility for complete facility operations during the assigned shift. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate and timely manner. This position has responsibility for the supervision of care of all patients.

Qualifications:

House Supervisor


Education:
Degree from an accredited program in professional nursing is required; or equivalent combination of related education and experience is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree required

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute hospital setting; preferably in a psychiatric facility. Supervisory/managerial experience preferred

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Valid driver’s license in state where facility is located.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and complete knowledge of crisis intervention techniques. Trained in HWC (including appropriate use of seclusion and restraint) within thirty (30) days of employment; must pass a medication administration exam.
