The Pinnacle Pointe Outpatient Managed Care Specialist verifies private insurance for OP clinics, enters verification info into Credible profile for accurate billing, makes any needed notations for office staff to convey to guardians regarding copays/coinsurance and also acts as a liaison for OP to private insurance companies to ensure rates are appropriate to services provided and any other negotiations that may be beneficial for the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred and/or healthcare experience with insurance and billing.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Requires knowledge of general office and phone skills as well as excellent organization, written communication skills.
- Must have legible handwriting.
- Computer skills necessary.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to handle confidential information and to maintain a pleasant & congenial attitude at all times is crucial.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
