Position Summary – Manufacturing Planner
Pinnacle Precision Sheet Metal is currently looking for a manufacturing planner. The manufacturing Planner is responsible for creating and developing the sequence of operations, bill of materials and planning of manufacturing routers for our aerospace, defense and commercial products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Using backlog requirements, economical job quantities and ship plan forecasts to create, plan and release manufacturing routers in support of on time delivery
- Assigning raw materials to manufacturing routers to reflect customer requirements and minimizing material losses
- Perform planning contract review of drawings and purchase orders
- Update master Bill of Materials with latest process, specification, and quality requirements
- Create manufacturing routers for new parts and process improvement trials
- Understanding and input of all estimated hours & costs for jobs
- Accurate, and timely, incorporation of in-process manufacturing change notices and customer engineering changes
- Maintain revision configuration control of planning and part number requirements
- Interact with other departments (including Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Sales)

Education and/or Experience:
- College degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent GED required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a sheet metal/machining/welding manufacturing environment
- Familiar with aerospace materials, hardware and finish processing.
- Must be able to read blueprints, related specifications and contract requirements
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to interpret written and oral instructions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Ability to utilize ERP or MRP software.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Position:
Full time position, Mon-Fri onsite with typical business hours
Salaried compensation structure, eligible for annual bonus, eligible for full company benefit package.
