Job Summary: The Vice President of Sales will lead the sales strategy and execution for sheet metal and CNC machining, focusing on developing new business with strategic customers in the Aerospace and Defense, Medical, Renewable Energy, Power, and Electronics industries. Expand the company's market presence in California and surrounding states while leveraging TPC’s global metal fabrication processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in targeted industries.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with strategic customers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional campaigns and sales materials.
- Oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
- Represent Pinnacle at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to senior management.
- Coordinate with the production and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Leverage TPC’s global capabilities to offer comprehensive solutions to customers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred or 10 plus years of experience.
- Extensive experience in sales leadership, preferably in the sheet metal and CNC machining industry.
- Proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Aerospace and Defense, Medical, Renewable Energy, Power, and Electronics industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- The ability to travel is needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
