Position Overview

Navigate executive-level conversations with clients, demonstrating a command of their business objectives, challenges, and operational health. Manage day-to-day activities to broker existing deals to institutions. Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying trends and recommending appropriate actions. Help prepare credit proposals of syndicated and bilateral loans, and support credit analyses for clients’’ financial service needs including managing customer databases and relevant documentation to facilitate accurate and efficient execution of loans. Support clients’ smooth transition from Underwriting to Portfolio Management. Develop operational processes to improve efficiency and scale policies and procedures as the portfolio continues to grow. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders with clients’ organizations and institutions
• Evaluate new funding opportunities, providing recommendations based on a thorough understanding of the client’s business and financials.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing issues and requests as they arise throughout the life of the loan or investment.
• Work closely with the underwriting, legal, and portfolio management teams to ensure smooth execution of credit facilities and adherence to loan terms.
• Evaluate loan amendments, extensions, and credit terms, making recommendations based on the client's financial position and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit underwriting, basic accounting, and other common asset-based lending documents/materials
• Existing Relationships with Credit Institutions

Transactions, financial modeling, and creating virtual data rooms.

• 3 years of experience in the private credit, commercial lending, banking or financial services industry
• Strong credit knowledge, ABL structuring skills and portfolio management expertise
• High proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel-based modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commercial Banking or equivalent from a top tier #20 Institution
