The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, achieving budgeted sales goals, providing branded solutions, and overseeing project execution from inception to completion for our wide variety of corporate clients. This role requires a proactive approach to cultivating client relationships, delivering outstanding account management, and driving growth within the assigned book of business across our corporate accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Client Management

  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales budgets by cultivating new and existing client relationships through proactive and strategic activities.
  • Identify growth opportunities and execute sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with the Director of Corporate Accounts and Manager of Program Development.
  • Provide outstanding account management to facilitate long-term client relationships.

Project Oversight

  • Manage all components of client projects, including scope, budget, timelines, order entry, quoting, and vendor negotiations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving escalations, making decisions on offers and refunds, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Coordinator to address supplier issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Strategic Growth and Problem Solving

  • Use Customer Dashboards and Rolling Reports to identify at-risk clients, escalating concerns to leadership and collaborating on strategies to win back business.
  • Initiate and quote new products to keep Pinnacle competitive in the market.
  • Work with vendors, marketers, and merchandisers to learn about new products, imprint methods, and production processes.
  • Team Collaboration and Development

  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings to provide updates and brainstorm new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and grow existing accounts.
  • Create pitch decks tailored to client interests and budgets.
  • Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of activities, interactions, and progress in Salesforce.
  • Requirements

    Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience : Minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
  • Skills :
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Effective multi-tasking and time management in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High energy and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Salesforce; experience with order management software is a plus.
