Position Summary 

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Supply Chain and Logistics to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This strategic role will oversee Gas supply and cost, Transport, inventory management, and distribution to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, foster strong supplier relationships, and align supply chain processes with the company's growth objectives.

Essential Job Responsibilities  

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, cost, and quality across the organization.
• Process Integration: Lead the integration of supply chain processes with other business functions, such as sales, marketing, finance, and production, to enhance overall operational performance.
• Advanced Analytics: Implement advanced analytics and supply chain management tools to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Sustainable Practices: Develop and maintain sustainable and ethical sourcing practices, ensuring compliance with legal standards and corporate social responsibility commitments.
• Risk Management: Coordinate risk management efforts across the supply chain, including the development of contingency plans to mitigate the impact of disruptions, shortages, or other unforeseen challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team, encouraging innovation, professional development, and collaboration to achieve strategic goals.
• Safety: implement high safety standard on the operation by working closely with Safety department. Ideally good knowledge of DOT Hazmat requirement.
• Industry Representation: Represent the company in industry associations, conferences, and professional groups to stay informed of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in supply chain management

Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others.

Travel and Hours 

This position is an exempt management position.  Travel is required up to 50%, as needed.  This position is located in our corporate office in Irving, TX.  Relocation to Texas will be required.
