Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Internal Audit Director to lead and oversee our internal audit function. This role is pivotal in ensuring the organizations compliance, risk management, and operational effectiveness. As a senior leader, the Internal Audit Director will collaborate with executive management, providing insights and recommendations to enhance governance and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership :
• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan that aligns with organizational objectives and risk management priorities.
• Provide strategic insights to executive leadership and the audit committee on risk mitigation and control enhancement.
• Audit Execution :
• Oversee the execution of operational, financial, and compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and systems.
• Ensure audits are completed efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with professional standards.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation :
• Identify and evaluate key organizational risks, recommending actionable solutions to mitigate them.
• Monitor and report on the implementation of audit recommendations and risk management initiatives.
• Team Management :
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal audit team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Stakeholder Collaboration :
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units, providing guidance on compliance and internal control matters.
• Maintain strong working relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
