We are looking for a talented Data Entry Clerk to join our clients team, where you will manage a variety of data entry, office support tasks, including processing employee data, maintaining records, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with clerical duties across multiple departments.

Payroll Data Entry Clerk Responsibilities :

  • Protect the information and identities of our employees.
  • Receive and process applications and employee data into the Farmers Office program, including onboarding events.
  • Provide general data entry and office support across various teams as needed.
  • Obtain additional information for incomplete documents.
  • Respond to requests for information in a professional manner and access relevant files.
  • Adapt to change with a positive attitude and maintain an open mind.
  • Work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Assist with other clerical duties including filing, faxing, and copying documents.
  • Utilize excellent interpersonal communication skills, compassion, and customer service.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors.
  • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
  • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
  • Store completed documents in appropriate locations.
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation.
  • Gather personnel records from other departments or employees.
  • Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.
  • Search employee files to obtain information for authorized persons.
  • Process and review employment applications to evaluate the qualifications or eligibility of applicants.
  • Cross-train and assist other departments and internal positions when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :

  • Bilingual in Spanish / English with the ability to communicate fluently in both languages for business purposes.
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Occasional travel to onboarding events.
  • Qualifications :

  • Human Resource experience in the Agricultural industry.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Education :

  • High School required or Some College.
  • Physical Requirements and Work Conditions :

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone.
