Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse Charge Nurse - Skilled Nursing

Overview

We are looking for a Full Time (6:30am-2:30pm) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a high-paying, permanent Charge Nurse position for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The LPN must have at least 1 year of experience in any setting. The LPN Charge Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties to provide quality nursing care to residents’ performing various documentation and communication duties; ensuring safety and care of resident environment; providing residents with dignity and respect; achieving goals as established in the department’s annual operating plan; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; supervising assigned staff; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information. LPN CHARGE NURSE JOB REQUIREMENTS: We will accept LPNs with 1 year of experience in ANY setting, however if the nurse does have experience with med/surg patients, that is a plus including Emergency Room, Emergency Department, rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse. Any experience will be accepted as long as the LPN has at least one year of licensed experience. The licensed practical nurse must have been trained as a licensed practical nurse. The licensed practical nurse must have a current LPN license in the state. The LPN must either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- no exceptions.
