Your primary responsibilities include using a forklift to move RV units around the lot to enhance their display for sale and transporting units to and from the service area for maintenance and repairs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized lot.Key Responsibilities : Lot Organization and Presentation : Move RV units around the lot to optimize their display and ensure they are showcased attractively for potential buyers. Arrange units in a neat, orderly fashion, aligning them according to dealership standards. Maintain accurate inventory records and location information Assist in setting up display areas for special promotions or sales events.Transporting Units for Service : Safely drive and maneuver RV units to and from the service area as required for maintenance and repair. Ensure timely delivery of units to technicians to support efficient service operations. Conduct pre-transport inspections to identify any immediate issues or concerns that may need addressing before moving the unit. Transport and refuel Motorized recreational vehicles as needed Drive to local parts suppliers to pick up parts for RV repairsInspection and Cleaning : Perform routine inspections of units to check for cleanliness, damages, or necessary repairs. Clean and prepare units for display, including washing exteriors and ensuring interiors are presentable and welcoming.Customer Service Support : Assist customers by answering basic questions about the units on the lot. Provide support during customer pick-up and drop-off, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.Safety and Compliance : Adhere to all safety protocols and dealership policies while operating and moving RV units and filling propane tanks / cylinders Report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel promptly.Qualifications : Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. Experience in operating forklifts, large vehicles, such as RVs or buses, is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks at once Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment Excellent communication and ability to communicate by various methods including, handheld 2-way radio, text, and face-to-face Physical ability to perform tasks that involve moving, lifting, and cleaning RV units. Must be physically capable of performing the duties in positions including bending, squatting, kneeling, stretching, and lifting up to 30 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to lift 30-80 pounds on an infrequent basisWork Environment : This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. The role requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting.
