Job Summary:
Pinnacle RV is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory, Tag & Title Clerk to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate vehicle inventory records and ensuring timely and compliant processing of all motor vehicle tag and title transactions. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a dealership or tag & title office, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a strong sense of accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Tag & Title Processing
- Prepare and process all new and used RVs for registration with the DMV.
- Submit necessary documents for title transfer, registration, lien recording, and plates issuance.
- Ensure all deals are compliant with state and federal DMV regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring timely follow-up on any discrepancies.
- Other tasks as assigned
Inventory Management
- Enter new inventory units into dealership management systems.
- Verify VINs, model details, and spec sheets for accuracy.
- Track vehicle movement on and off the lot.
- Work closely with the manufactures, sales and service departments to maintain current and accurate inventory counts.
- Other tasks as assigned
Administrative Support
- Assist with filing, scanning, and maintaining customer and vehicle records.
- Communicate with banks, customers, and state agencies as needed regarding title issues.
- Maintain supply of title and DMV-related forms and materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- 1 year experience in tag & title processing, preferably in a dealership or RV setting.
- Working knowledge of DMV regulations and vehicle registration processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership management software (e.g., CDK, IDS, Reynolds & Reynolds).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and handle confidential information with integrity.
