Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Armed Security Officers for Multiple Locations in the Atlanta, GA and Athens, GA
$18.00 / HR (depending upon Post Assignment)
- Must either have completed the Georgia 24 hr Basic Security Officer Training course or be able to meet requirements for completion, including:
- Pass background check
- Complete necessary guard classroom training
- Must be in good physical condition to complete necessary post assignments, which might include walking, driving, or standing for extended periods of time
- Must have a professional presentation, both in appearance and demeanor
- Possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Demonstrate a commitment and understanding of core values such as respect, integrity, and accountability
- Work successfully in either a team-oriented or solo environment
- Available to work assigned schedules
- Ability to use sound judgment, decision-making skills, and discretion
- Valid driver license with clean driving record, if assigned post involves use of a vehicle
Responsibilities:
Depending on nature of assignment:
- Conduct mobile or foot patrols of an assigned area or property
- Complete accurate and detailed reports and logs utilizing a web-based reporting system
- Access and egress control
- Screening of persons, containers, or vehicles
- Perform other duties as requested or required
Compensation commensurate with experience. Full-time employees will be eligible to participate in the benefits plans offered by the company to its employees, under the terms and conditions of those plans.
