Job Title: Cybersecurity Engineer (w/ Crowd Strike)
Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, First month 5 days onsite)
Duration: Contract to Hire (CTH)
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with Crowd Strike expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity systems and engineering, with hands-on experience in security operations and solutions. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to be local to Trenton, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage Crowd Strike security solutions.
- Develop, test, and maintain security systems and protocols for IT infrastructure.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure cloud security solutions are properly implemented in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent environments.
- Provide continuous monitoring of security systems and generate reports for security posture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents or breaches as they arise.
- Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security features across enterprise systems.
Required Skills:
- MUST have Crowd Strike experience.
- 5-7 years of progressive work experience as an IT/Cybersecurity Engineer or Systems Engineer with a focus on security.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent related work experience.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity principles, technologies, and tools.
- CompTIA Security (Plus), Network (Plus), A (Plus) certifications are required.
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent cloud security certifications preferred.
- Vendor and product-specific certifications are considered a plus where applicable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.
