Job Description:
Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong experience in PeopleSoft and Workday integrations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in backend development using Java, Spring, Oracle, and Kafka, and have hands-on experience with enterprise systems integrations, especially in HR and POS domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend Java applications and APIs.
- Integrate Java-based systems with Workday and PeopleSoft platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts and integration teams for Workday and PeopleSoft workflows.
- Use Kafka for real-time data streaming and integration tasks.
- Work on Oracle databases for backend data management.
- Support Point of Sale (POS) integration projects and resolve related backend issues.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to architectural discussions.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework
- Proficiency in Oracle DB and SQL
- Experience with Kafka for integration and messaging
- Experience integrating with Workday and PeopleSoft (MUST HAVE)
- Knowledge of POS systems and related backend integration is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
- Retail industry experience
- Familiarity with Workday APIs and PeopleSoft data models
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
