Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with deep expertise in enterprise-grade Python development. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building high-performance applications, particularly in financial or risk management domains. This role requires a mix of strong technical acumen, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a distributed Agile team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Python
Work with multithreading and multiprocessing to improve performance
Write clean, efficient, and testable code using pytest/unittest
Leverage pandas and other libraries for data manipulation
Design and execute complex SQL queries (preferably in Snowflake)
Integrate and develop within AWS cloud ecosystems
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and collaborative development
Use CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control with Git
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently when needed
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on Python development experience
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of multithreading, multiprocessing, and data libraries (e.g., pandas)
Experience with SQL databases; Snowflake preferred
Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies
Proficient in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and Git version control
Experience working in Agile development teams
Prior experience with financial applications, especially in risk management, is a major plus
