Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our team in Tampa, FL. This position requires a strong background in SCADA systems, utilities, and customer billing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and supporting complex software applications, integrating software with advanced interfaces, and working collaboratively with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop complex software solutions based on detailed specifications provided by Business Systems Analysts and/or Business Partners.
• Implement software packages that require extensive configuration and integration, collaborating with vendor resources as needed.
• Integrate applications with complex interfaces following provided specifications.
• Provide 24x7 support for one or more mission-critical, core, or niche applications.
• Assist in the request and analysis phases of the SDLC by producing documentation and estimates, and review deliverables created by junior staff.
• Execute design, development, and implementation phases of the SDLC by producing required deliverables and reviewing junior staff outputs.
• Serve as a technical lead on projects and collaborate on application development and support teams under managerial or project leadership.
• Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant business areas and technical skills.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the development of standard practices for the team.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, development, and support.
2. SCADA Expertise: Strong background in SCADA systems and related technologies.
3. Utilities Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience in the utilities domain.
4. Customer Billing Systems: Familiarity with customer billing systems, their functionality, and integration.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for reporting and analytics.
