Job Title: Sr. .NET Developer Location: Boca Raton, FL (MUST already be local to South Florida Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. .NET Developer to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience working on enterprise-level applications, with a focus on modernizing systems using .NET Core. You will work on a variety of tasks including backend and middleware development, code optimization, and full-stack engineering.
The role requires a seasoned developer with experience leading teams, designing solutions using object-oriented principles, and proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the design and development of enterprise-level applications
- Modernize legacy systems using .NET Core and related technologies
- Develop and optimize both backend and frontend code
- Implement object-oriented design patterns and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-performance solutions
- Ensure that applications meet security, performance, and scalability requirements
- Provide mentorship to junior developers
- Maintain and improve existing systems
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7-8 years of experience in software development, primarily working with .NET technologies
- Proven experience in enterprise-level applications and web application development
- Strong knowledge and experience with .NET Framework (4.x and above)
- Expertise in ASP.NET / C#
- Proficiency in .NET Core
- Experience with Webform / MVC frameworks
- Familiarity with Web Services (WCF / REST)
- Strong experience with SQL / T-SQL and working with SQL Server databases
- Solid understanding of JavaScript / JQuery / Ajax, with exposure to React or Angular
- Working knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Deep understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Experience with Secure coding best practices
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and TFS for version control and project management
- Solid understanding of the Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the IT industry
Additional Notes:
- MUST be local to South Florida (Boca Raton or nearby areas)
- Candidates must be able to convert to permanent without sponsorship (no VISA support)
- Candidates with experience in foreign companies will be considered
- This is an onsite position, Monday to Friday
