Process Engineer Opportunity - Precision Manufacturing
About the role :
We are searching for an experienced Process Engineer to join a growing and well-established company west of Syracuse. In this role, the Process Engineer will support the manufacturing process of several lines of high-quality precision metal components for the military, aerospace and power generation industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct research and develop new and improved processes for manufacturing to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production of precision components.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to transition prototypes into full-scale manufacturing, ensuring processes are scalable and meet quality standards.
- Establish and support Safety procedures and methods Conduct tests and monitor process performance throughout production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues , utilizing root cause analysis to implement effective corrective actions.
- Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations , particularly those relevant to aerospace and military manufacturing.
- Estimate production costs to support overall engineering operations.
