Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movement
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with crane and clamp truck operation is a plus
- Proficiency in building loads and securing materials for transport
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
