Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials within the warehouse and ensuring the production line has an adequate supply of products to meet customer demands.
Duties
- Utilize forklifts, cranes, and other equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Perform order picking and packing tasks efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations while handling materials
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks for shipping and receiving
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
- Proficiency in using forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to material handling
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Job Types: Contract, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
