Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Water Spider to support our production operations. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone with basic manufacturing knowledge and a strong interest in welding and production processes. The Water Spider plays a critical part in ensuring materials and documentation are organized and readily available, allowing for uninterrupted workflow and improved productivity across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver necessary parts and paperwork to designated staging locations to maintain continuous production flow.
- Communicate and execute material delivery plans for upcoming jobs or departments.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Production, Planning, Receiving, and Warehouse to ensure timely material readiness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace within assigned areas.
- Respond quickly to changing priorities and address material shortages.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and promote safety at all times.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers and entering data into spreadsheets.
- Previous experience in assembly or material handling is a plus, but not required.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and perform physical tasks for 8-hour shifts.
- Willingness to learn and support various production-related functions.
- Interest in welding or manufacturing a strong advantage.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
