Job Summary:
We are seeking a Design Drafter to support the conversion of complex legacy 2D drawings into detailed 3D solid models to facilitate advanced manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with design, product, and manufacturing engineering teams using CAD tools such as Siemens Teamcenter and NX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and layouts to produce accurate 3D CAD models
- Utilize Siemens Teamcenter and NX to create and manage solid models
- Prepare manufacturing-ready models and documentation for CAM operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and manufacturing engineers
- Ensure all work complies with applicable GD&T standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical field
- 1–3 years of experience in drafting/design
- Proficiency in CAD software (Siemens NX preferred)
- Familiarity with GD&T and User Defined Features (UDF) is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Designer/Drafter: 3 years (Required)
- CAD: 3 years (Preferred)
- GD&T: 3 years (Preferred)
