Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Lead to join our team in overseeing manufacturing operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, mechanical knowledge, and working within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production team activities on the assembly line
- Ensure products are fabricated and assembled according to quality standards
- Operate power tools and hand tools as needed for production tasks
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages to management
- Train new employees on production processes and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse or factory
- Utilize forklifts for material handling when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably on an assembly line
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to fabricate and assemble products efficiently and accurately
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide a team effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required
