Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Type: 3 Months Contract (Temp – Hire)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr. on W2 without benefits
Job Location: Cape Cod, MA 02532
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00PM Mon to Fri (Some Flexibility needed on schedule)
Qualifications:
Proposed work days and times: [Manager will discuss during interview- work schedule TBD] Training hours may differ - will have to align with the mentor's work schedule when assigned. ***Subject to change with some variation of possible rotation, weekends, nights, OT. Approx. travel range. Primary work location [Cape Cod, MA 02532]. 100% travel within territory assigned.
Requirements:
High school Diploma (or equivalent)
Have a valid driver's license and driving record that satisfies requirements
Drive your personal vehicle for the first 90 days to job sites.
Physical & Technical Requirements:
This is a physical job, so you must have the ability to do the following:
- A valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company-required standards.
- Ability to successfully pass background and drug testing
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in close quarters within and around the equipment.
- Familiarity with computers and a variety of consumer communications devices, such as smart phones.
- Travel to/from assigned territories and company facilities, including during inclement weather is essential.
- Service experience or electro mechanical experience is a plus
- You will be driving your personal vehicle the first 90 day of the apprentice program to multiple job sites.
You are responsible for:
-Performing maintenance on ATMs (e.g., card reader, printer, reset and test devices, etc.). Electro mechanical repair.
-Performing basic installation functions (e.g., set up and test equipment, pulling cables, mounting devices, installing
locks)
-Performing technical fixes such as clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.
-Inspecting products for correct operation and resolving noted issues and/or escalating according to established procedures
-Prioritizing and planning service calls
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Electrical: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 (Required)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (Preferred)
