Job Summary:
Pinnacle Trailer Sales Inc. is seeking an AP Coordinator to join the Pinnacle Team. The AP Coordinator will be responsible for performing all accounts payable activities within the office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Vendors and Payments:
- Reconciles monthly vendor statements and addresses any discrepancies.
- Daily management and processing of incoming invoices and inputting for payment
- Prepare and process weekly AP check run.
- Ensure that invoices are paid on time as per vendor terms.
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Set up new vendors by collecting all necessary information and competing setup in accounting system.
- Ensure that all accounts payable records are filed according to standard procedures.
Additional Duties
- Assist with month end close process by ensuring accounts payable and related accounts are reconciled and accurate for month end close.
- Assist with incoming phone calls and direct necessary parties.
- Assist/Manage other special projects as needed.
Education and Experience
- Required Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Preferred 2-3 years previous accounting or accounts payable experience.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel: experienced with pivot tables, sorting, filtering, lookup functions, and formulas.
- Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate across departments/functions as needed.
- High attention to detail, with excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude toward problem solving.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude while communicating effectively with vendors, customers, and co-workers.
