What are the responsibilities and job description for the Imports Buyer position at Pinnacle99 INC?
Role:: Imports Buyer
Location: Philadelphia HQ or Capital Heights (hybrid possible)
Duration:: Full Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor relationships with overseas suppliers, focusing on specialty and seasonal imports.
• Coordinate international logistics with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain up-to-date product data across S2K and Adobe Commerce, ensuring price, availability, and compliance info (e.g., allergen or country of origin) is accurate.
• Conduct daily reviews of product listings, brand integrity, and stock availability in coordination with the ecommerce team.
• Monitor landed costs, FX impact, and adjust margin targets in TrackMax or internal pricing sheets.
• Ensure products are correctly categorized and visible across B2B and B2C sites.
• Proactively resolve discrepancies in item descriptions, pricing, and availability across platforms (S2K, Magento, Shopify) .
Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in procurement or buying role; international sourcing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (S2K preferred).
• Strong Excel and data verification skills.
• Knowledge of FDA and USDA import regulations is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (Logistics, QA, Finance, Ecommerce).
