Position Title: Aviation Maintenance Technician Intern
Your role in Planning will play a pivotal role in the success of our department as we provide our interns with real, meaningful projects that one or more full-time employees would normally complete. During the internship, you will also have the opportunity to work on some of our key systems daily. This provides insights into what full-time employees accomplish and potential challenges.
An example of a typical project would be:
- Streamline the artwork change communication process with internal partners and suppliers
- Identify gaps and opportunities in raw material inventory management.
Required Skills And Background
- Desired Major: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Desired Class Year: Winter 2025 or Spring 2026
- Desired Skills: Informed decision-making, customer service oriented, personal responsibility, having an inclusive mindset to work with partners from various backgrounds, leadership skills, being able to convey clear expectations, and taking responsibility for decision-making. Able to take/follow instructions
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $23 - $25 per hour.
