Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that align with state standards and meet the needs of diverse learners
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and providing feedback as necessary
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to support student learning and engagement
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and responsibility
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
- Arizona teaching certification for elementary education
- Early Childhood Endorsement is required for grades PreK-3
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in developing and implementing lesson plans and activities for elementary students
- Ability to use technology effectively for instruction and student assessment
- Knowledge of child development and learning theories
