In this role, you will be responsible for operating a school bus safely and efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service to our students and their families. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be an integral part of our transportation team, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth and safe transportation of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport students safely and efficiently to and from school, field trips, and other events.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus at all times, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school officials to ensure a smooth and seamless transportation experience.
- Collaborate with other transportation staff to coordinate student transportation needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Have a clean driving record and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Pass a drug and alcohol test and background check.
- Be physically fit and able to drive for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
