At Pinon Unified School District, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team of professionals. As a key member of our transportation department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our students to and from school, field trips, and other events.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained bus at all times, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials to ensure a smooth and seamless transportation experience.
- Work closely with other transportation staff to coordinate student transportation needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Have a clean driving record and a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Pass a drug and alcohol test and background check.
- Be physically fit and able to drive for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
