Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Brewer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brewing processes and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of our beverages. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and adherence to food safety protocols are paramount.
Duties
- Operate brewing equipment, ensuring all processes are performed according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor fermentation, filtration, and packaging processes to maintain product quality.
- Conduct regular quality control checks, including taste testing and laboratory analysis.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the brewing area, adhering to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) standards.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Fabricate and package products efficiently while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with brewing equipment, utilizing mechanical knowledge for repairs or adjustments.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the production area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in brewing or a related role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of CGMP, HACCP, and food safety practices.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus; certification may be required.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
