Position Summary 

Pinpoint is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-oriented environment, while effectively managing various HR duties. As the sole HR professional in the company, this position manages the full employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, and ensuring compliance with company policies, state, and federal laws. 

 

So, what will you actually be doing? 

 

Human Resources

  • Manage the recruitment process: maintaining open positions and requisitions on various job boards, sourcing, screening, and engaging with potential candidates for open positions
  • Conducting phone interviews and scheduling interviews with managers
  • Onboarding new employees, including conducting candidate background checks, references, base training, etc.
  • Prepare and organize new hire documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and applicable laws
  • Process weekly payroll accurately, ensure payroll compliance with state and federal laws, and address and resolve payroll-related concerns
  • Maintain employee benefits programs including enrollment changes and annual open enrollment process 
  • Administer 401(k) plans, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance
  • Ensure compliance with hiring/discharge policies and procedures
  • Keep the management team up to date with new applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Ensure HR practices align with state and federal employment law and provide guidance to employees on company policies, fostering a culture of mutual respect and teamwork 
  • Promote a positive workplace environment through effective communication and employee engagement
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee information in compliance with applicable laws and company policies 

 

Accounts Payable 

  • Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring they are appropriately matched to associated purchase orders.
  • Receive, verify, and process team members’ expense reports and apply them to corresponding projects within Pinpoint’s project management application 
  • Verifying and investigating irregularities or discrepancies with purchases and credit card charges
  • Monitor and track customer accounts to ensure timely collections and assist in following up on overdue accounts and documenting collections efforts 
  • Managing, organizing, and maintaining financial information required for taxes and audits 

 

Skills, qualifications, and requirements needed to succeed:

  • Proven and relevant experience in an account’s payables function’s role within the last 3 years
  • At least 3 years of Human Resources experience with a focus on onboarding and processes 
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment laws and best practices
  • Exceptional and adaptable interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • High-energy, yet composed personality with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude and approach to work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, and other related computer skills required
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or Indeed is preferred
  • A confident attitude that fuels a genuine desire to help promote professional development
  • Ability to professionally create, compose, and edit written materials
  • Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on the changing priorities of the company
  • Knowledge of advertising, events, or marketing is preferred but not required
