What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group/party host position at PINSTACK?
Primary Job Duties:
- Responsible for room setups for events per layout on banquet order
- Resetting all banquet rooms and areas to the default setting
- Maintain appropriate food levels on group buffets, platters, drink stations, etc.
- Assisting with delivering the best possible experience for group clients and notifying Management immediately if assistance is needed
- Greeting and communicating with guests and answering basic group related questions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the event area throughout the event
- Assist servers by delivering food and non-alcoholic beverages to guests
- Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a lead or manager
- Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time with frequent bending and turning
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must be comfortable climbing on a ladder
- Must be able to communicate with guests and accept and deliver drink orders
Special Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old (18 yrs old to serve alcohol with valid TABC)
- Must possess a valid Food Handler’s Certificate or other similar license per local code
- Obtain training certification per company policy
