Job Duties: Build cutting edge computer vision technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to improve recommender performance at Pinterest and to power new user experience. Partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), while gaining knowledge of how machine learning works in different areas. Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of our data to tailor the state-of-the-art computer vision model to Pinterest use cases. Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches. Keep up with industry trends in recommendation systems. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Computer Vision; (3) Machine Learning; (4) Deep Learning; (5) Pytorch; (6) Object Detection; (7) Segmentation; (8) CUDA; (9) PySpark; (10) Numpy; (11) Large-scale distributed training; and (12) GPU Inference optimization. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.
Salary: $200,000.00 - $267,272.00 per annum and standard company benefits.
