What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Software Engineer position at Pinterest Job Advertisements?
Job Duties: Build products, tools and systems that scale Pinterest’s advertising demand. Build easy to understand products and interfaces for advertisers to run ad campaigns on Pinterest. Run A/B experiments of product features and perform data analysis on results. Knit across teams by collaborating with Product managers and designers and other functions to build a holistic experience that’s right for both Pinners and advertisers. Influence and lead technical decisions across wider engineering teams in different domains. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Javascript; (2) Python; (3) NodeJS; (4) ReactJS; (5) Redux; (6) NextJS; (7) RESTful web services; (8) MySQL; (9) ExpressJS; (10) A/B testing. Telecommuting is permitted. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
Salary: $255,655.36 - $350,763.00 per annum.
