We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Consumer Marketing team. In this role, you'll shape and bring to life the heart and soul of Pinterest – our curation products. Dreaming and planning on Pinterest primarily takes place by saving and curating pins into boards, or collaging them together into aesthetic visualizations. As we invest more deeply in Ai-driven personalization, and world-class visual search technology, we'll be taking boards and curation to the next level. As the lead PMM for Curation you'll provide a data-driven market perspective to shape the features we build and how we bring them to market. Working with our product, engineering, design, research, comms and marketing teams, you'll provide market and customer insights to inform product strategy, define product messaging and positioning, and drive global go-to-market strategies to increase awareness and adoption of our products. You'll be the glue that brings teams together, turning bold ideas into strategies and solutions that boost engagement and foster user love for Pinterest.
What you'll do:
- Product Strategy: Shape our curation product strategy through market analysis and user research in collaboration with UX research, brand research, data science, and other cross-functional teams. Create market requirement documents (MRD) to inform product development, and design alpha/beta experiments to inform product launch strategy.
- Go-to-market Planning: Develop and execute GTM strategies, including the positioning, messaging, user education, and in-product marketing strategies necessary to drive adoption of, and sustained engagement with, our curation products.
- Narrative building: Craft strategic narratives for Pinterest's curation offerings aimed at consumers, partners, and investors.
- Analysis: Use data and insights to drive adoption of strategic priorities, influence overall consumer growth initiatives, and set KPIs for launches or updates.
- Cross-functional alignment: Drive XFN alignment throughout the go-to-market process, including securing buy-in from the executive team.
- Product education & enablement: Educate and inspire internal and external teams on Pinterest's curation solutions.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 6 years of Consumer product marketing and/or product management experience at a fast growing tech company in
- Proven ability to craft compelling positioning, messaging and go-to-market plans that resonate with users.
- Strong analytical mindset - you are comfortable using data to inform decision-making and measure impact.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that carries a degree of ambiguity.
