JOB TITLE: Event Assistant
EMPLOYER: Pinx Catering
DEPARTMENT: Events
REPORTS TO: Director of Event Experience & Design
SUMMARY: The Event Assistant supports and organizes events. The Event Assistant supports the design and planning aspect of the Pinx Experience and at times will be responsible for Event Planning.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand requirements for each event including signage, staging, layouts etc.
Support event design including but not limited to tablescapes
Support event planning and as needed on day of the events (including but not limited to set up and operations)
Evaluate event’s success and provide suggestions to enhance event success & process improvements
Support in organizing & maintaining design studio
Support in facilitating putting away décor, platters & supplies
Helping to pull platters & creation of tablescape layouts as needed
Collaborate with Sales, Logistics & Kitchen Staff
Maintaining of Event Management Calendar
Position reports to Director of Experience & Design supporting all event related tasks and responsibilities
