CAD Drafter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting for the millwork or cabinetry industry and a passion for producing precise technical drawings that guide fabrication and installation. This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and shop floor staff to ensure all designs meet client specifications and production capabilities. Experience with Microvellum AutoCAD software is highly preferred. We are offering a full-time position for 1-2 candidates who meet our expectations.

• Create detailed technical drawings and shop drawings for custom millwork and cabinetry using AutoCAD, with a strong emphasis on Microvellum.
• Translate architectural plans and sketches into accurate production-ready drawings.
• Collaborate with project managers and shop floor team to clarify design details and resolve issues.
• Ensure all drawings meet company standards and client specifications.
• Revise drawings as needed based on feedback and project changes.
• Maintain organized drawing files and document version control.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure seamless workflow from drafting to fabrication.
• Work from 7AM–3:30PM Monday–Friday (5 days a week).

• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter, preferably in the woodworking, cabinetry, or architectural millwork industry.
• Proficiency in Microvellum AutoCAD software is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction and fabrication drawings.
• Familiarity with cabinet construction, woodworking materials, and production techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to adapt to fast-paced, deadline-driven work conditions.
