We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our warehouse team and help maintain accurate stock records while supporting our logistics and operations.
Job Summary: The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring the accuracy of warehouse records. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of warehouse operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and accurately log incoming stock.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Manage stock locations and ensure items are stored properly.
- Identify and report stock discrepancies or damage.
- Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing shipments.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of stock movements and adjustments.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Unload FedEx deliveries daily, identify packages, stage for inspectors, restock inspected packages, and assist with shipping.
- Assist in facility activities and maintenance, such as minor repairs, facility upkeep, crate assembly, etc.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience or basic understanding of warehouse operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock records.
- Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Physical capability to lift and move stock as required.
