Job Overview
Responsible for the control of late and/or delinquent loan accounts and pending late payment reminders. Make follow-up telephone calls on delinquent loan accounts and maintain accurate records on delinquent loan accounts. Optimize collections on accounts while balancing the goodwill of members with the overall business interests of the credit union.
Responsibilities
- Manage the collection process for outstanding accounts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments and billing.
- Communicate effectively with clients to negotiate payment plans and address any inquiries regarding their accounts.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions with clients and updates on account statuses.
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult conversations professionally.
- Excellent analytical skills for effective account analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
