POSITION SUMMARY |
The Registered Nurse Trainer is responsible for providing medical consultation services to clients and Direct Service Professional providers to insure the overall health and well-being of clients. This includes ensuring compliance to all state required training regarding health and safety, skills assessments, and medication administration, training all Direct Service Professionals in basic health and safety and medication administration, as well as for on-the-job sign-off for assigned components of basic health and safety and all medication for assigned staff/group homes. This involves allowing trained staff to administer medications to clients (per guidelines) on nursing license, as well as monitoring and oversight of medication administration/supervision of certified staff. |
