About the Opportunity
The Inner Layer Coating Operator processes inner layers through the Hot Roller Laminator (HRL) Machine. The position ensures that all jobs are processed in accordance with Process Engineering, Team Leader direction, Traveler information and Standard Operating Procedures.
What You'll Do:
- Reads and interprets work instruction on the traveler to verify customer name, lot number and quantity; confirms that prior process was completed, signed and dated on the traveler
- Operates the Hot Roller Laminator Machine including startup, turn-off, and general maintenance
- Sets up resist coat in accordance with panel size
- Feeds panels through the HRL Machine per Traveler instructions
- Visually inspects panels before and after processing to ensure that there are no non-conformances (e.g., scratches, resist wrinkles and other physical defects)
- Performs all other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or comparable industry experience (Preferred)
- 1 to 2 years of related experience (Preferred)
Please note that in addition to frequent standing and walking, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
- 2nd shift, 4:00pm to 12:30am
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
