Hybrid: Onsite 2-3 days/week

Job Description:
Trademark Copy Paralegal:
Reviews packaging, websites, advertising copy, social media content, and evidence of use, and liaises with business partners regarding the same.
Executes domestic and international trademark screening and searching online, and conducts initial review of search results, to determine availability and scope of potential rights.
Conducts preliminary analysis of basic trademark and copyright issues and makes recommendations to in-house counsel regarding such matters.
Educates business partners regarding proper trademark use and the processes for clearing and protecting new trademarks.
Maintains and updates relevant Trademark Department documents, guidelines and procedures, and initiates revisions based on business needs.
Maintains trademark portfolio management databases, including data entry, docket review, and preparation of reports for attorneys and business units.
Provides support and due diligence in connection with transactional matters.
Assists in management of U.S. and foreign trademark portfolios, including clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
Strong organizational and planning skills are required, in addition to excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to handle numerous tasks and projects within tight deadlines is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), as well as Saegis, is required. Online research skills are required.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. 2 years experience as a trademark paralegal preferred. Candidate needs to be extremely motivated, energetic, and able to work independently and in team/group settings.
