Experience & Qualifications:

· Certifications:

- EFDA preferred, but not required for the right candidate. We'll help you obtain your EFDA

- X-ray certification

- CPR certification

· Experience: one year or more

· Skills:

- Proficient with Dentrix and Open Dental software a plus, and skilled with digital x-rays, CT scans, and panoramic imaging.

- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to assist with complex dental cases, fabricate temporary crowns, and work independently, ensuring high-quality patient care.

- Ability to build relationships with patients and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities:

· Clinical Support: Provide chair-side assistance to dentists and hygienists, including charting, patient education, and preparing/cleaning operatory rooms.

· Patient Care: Deliver an exceptional experience at all phases of the appointment. Educate patients on the importance of oral health.

· Diagnostic Tasks: Take x-rays as prescribed and assist in the management of digital imaging.

· Treatment Planning: strong skills in understanding, entering and organizing treatment plans. Communicate treatment recommendations effectively.

· Sterilization: Handle complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories.

· Practice Integration: Work collaboratively with the team across all areas of the practice, from clinical tasks to scheduling and checkout processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

· Base Pay: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour *depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives

· Benefits: Include 401(k), 100% paid health insurance, includes vision. In-house dental

· Paid Time Off: 2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week paid sick leave

· Job Type: Full-time

· Schedule: Monday to Friday, Office hours are 8 am – 5 pm
