Responsibilities:
- Health Office Support:
- Provide basic first aid to students as needed.
- Assist the school nurse with procedures such as tube feedings.
- Address student restroom needs and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Maintain student health records and ensure confidentiality.
- Manage health office supplies.
- Main Office Support:
- Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage student attendance records and make attendance phone calls.
- Provide clerical support to the principal and other school staff.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry.
- Other:
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
- Collaborate effectively with the school nurse, principal, admin assistant, and other staff members.
- Adhere to all school and district policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications.
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are a plus.
