BASIC DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIES
- Helps with the preparation and cooking of menu items, including special diet items
- Prepares food in accordance with established procedures and sanitary regulations.
- Responsible for dishware washing and dish room sanitation.
- Setting up and breaking down all dining rooms for meal service.
- Daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties as assigned.
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures as policy indicates.
- Follow spread sheets and standardized menus.
- Tray line duties as assigned by supervisor.
Shifts: Days and Evenings
Hours: Varies with shift
Requirements
REQUIRMENTS
- Read, write and speak English fluently.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Knowledge of safe equipment use.
- Ability to work in extreme kitchen heat.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend and reach.
- Ability to calculate weights and measures.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to do basic math calculations.
