Description Data Scientist
Summary:
- As a Data Scientist, you will support a diverse team of engineers, directly impacting the Fulfillment Services Platform roadmap.
- Your responsibilities will include evaluating existing machine learning processes, performing statistical analyses, and improving the accuracy of our ML models.
- You will also assist in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing retail systems.
Job at a glance:
- 6-month contract (Intent of temp to perm)
- $65/hr optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)
- Hybrid schedule (2-3 days on site)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with solution architects, data scientists, and product managers to refine the Fulfillment Services Data Strategy.
- Serve as a technical advisor, troubleshooting challenges related to data product infrastructure and applications.
- Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems.
- Conduct machine learning tests and experiments, implementing appropriate algorithms.
- Transform data science prototypes into functional ML applications.
- Document the machine learning process and create data pipelines for various streaming use cases.
- Ensure high data quality and enhance user experience.
- Assist the scrum master in creating technical stories and spikes.
Required Skills:
- 5 years as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
- Designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- MLOps, CI/CD, TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, C , etc.).
