Logistics Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and materials through our supply chain, ensuring efficient operations from sourcing to order fulfillment. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics operations, including sourcing, dispatching, and order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Must utilize DAT Boards and other Integrated boards
• Must be able to Multi task. Use of E mails,Word, Excel and TMS Systems
• Must have knowledge of LTL, Truckload, Drayage
• Monitor freight movement and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
• Assist in developing operational strategies to improve efficiency within the logistics framework.

Skills

• Proficiency in operations relating to Brokerage/Logistics/Dispatch ops
• Experience with dispatching and coordinating logistics activities within a distribution center.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and their logistics requirements.
• Strong understanding of freight processes and best practices in supply chain management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in logistics operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.97 - $19.78 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
